Shopping for Used Bikes

The two wheeler industry in India has experienced a spectacular growth over the last few decades. Apart from the Indian bikes, the young generations are also opting for some imported bikes. There are also a large number of people who prefer to buy used bikes as they are very economical. There are several online and offline retailers who sell such bikes. However, you need to consider your requirements if you want to buy a good quality used bike in minimum prize range.

The first thing you need to consider is the brand. The Hero Honda bikes or the Bajaj bikes are more common, but if you desire a particular brand it is better to take time and shop around. You will also need to decide upon the engine type. Most of the bikes in India have an engine of 150, 200 or 225 cc. Another important factor you need to figure out while purchasing a used bike is the location where it has been initially registered. Suppose you are living in Mumbai, then try to buy a bike that has been registered in Maharashtra.

Once you have found a desired bike, check whether it has been properly maintained by the previous owner. Ask for the papers and inspect the bike thoroughly.
